Before he sold it several years ago, Geils' business was the worst-kept secret in New England. Other Ferrari fanatics heard about the facility and began taking their cars to Ayer for service and race prep. Geils assembled a team and found a place for his collection in Ayer, and along the way developed a serious passion for Italian sports cars, which he also housed and maintained at the Ayer facility. His collection became sizable enough that he needed a full-time curator to maintain all the machines. Geils was looking for an outlet other than music, and became infatuated with Italian motorcycles-Ducatis to be more precise.
